I Got an Invitation from SmartBid; Now What?

 

 

So, you got a SmartBid Project Invitation? Whoop!

First, let's log in. At the top of the invitation you received, it will state why you received this invitation. In my case, it is because I have a profile registered with iSqFt. To log in, click on the Orange Bar "Click Here to View the Project", or use the link with the Access Key (highlighted in red). Yep, no username or password needed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And we are in...There are a couple of buttons to send notes and open the Plan Room. You can also view the basic project information and the codes/trades you were invited to on this page.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To find the plans, scroll ALL the way down, and expand the folders. You can choose to download individual files, or make a selection and download in bulk.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Good job! After reviewing the documents, etc. you are ready to submit your Proposal. Click on the Send Proposal button.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Enter your Proposal Description, and add any relevant documents pertaining to your proposal. Hit Send to upload the files and send the Proposal to the GC.

Boom! Proposal sent!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you aren't interested in a particular project, you have the option to Unsubscribe from those notification. On the invitation they sent you, scroll down and click on "Click Here".

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Select to Unsubscribe from this individual project or from all, and click on the "Submit Changes to My Communication Preferences" button.

However, if you decide that you want to receive and view the project, hit the "Click Here to View the Project".
